AP Racing Big Brake Systems
AP Racing Big Brake upgrades have been developed to be the ultimate performance brake upgrade. All kits are designed to perform with the factory OE master cylinder and are ABS compatible. Each kit includes world famous AP Racing 2, 4 or 6-Piston Aluminum Alloy Calipers with AP Racing performance Cross-Drilled and/or Slotted Rotors. The rotors are one or two piece curved vane for maximum cooling. Also included is 6061 T6 Aluminum mounting brackets with steel inserts for added strength, DOT Tested Stainless Steel Brake Lines, and all the necessary Aerospace Grade hardware to install the kit. Many kits require 18" or larger wheels so please call for a brake profile to check wheel clearance. You too can now posses the same advance brake technology found in the Indy Racing League (IRL), Formula 1, World Rally Car (WRC), and NASCAR at an affordable price.

30-1000 Cobra Style Brake Kit (2 Piston)
Upgrade your GT to Cobra Spec. Each axle kit comes with two high performance calipers, two high performance cross-drilled and slotted 13" rotors, high performance brake pads, brake lines, hardware, spindles (if needed) and instructions. We highly recommend using the installation opportunity to change out the old brake fluid as well. A brake fluid developed to withstand higher temperatures (like the Motul brand) is ideal for performance oriented drivers. Actual product may vary slightly from image. Slotted rotors available on request. |

30-5000R Racing Big Brake System - (4-Piston)
We now offer a performance brake upgrade for the popular Mustang GT and Cobra models. This new AP Racing 4-Piston kit is designed to bolt on to the 1994 through 2004 models with 5-lug hubs. This kit comes complete with AP Racing's famous CP5200 caliper (available Red or Black) designed for both road racing and street driving. The CP5200 caliper has differential bores (2 X 38.1mm / 2 X 41.3mm) to control pad taper and are sealed with recessed pressure and dust seals. Knock back springs are also incorporated in the piston bores for more aggressive track use. Also included in this kit are one piece 330mm x 28mm (13" x 1.10") right and left handed curved vane discs which are cross-drilled or Slotted for improved out gassing of spent pad material. Additionally Goodridge stainless steel brakes lines and all necessary hardware are included. |

Brembo - The Gran Turismo Brake Systems are comprised of both 1 or 2-piece vented rotors that are 12 to 15 inches cross-drilled or slotted. In the 2-piece system, billet aluminum hats are application specific and have been individually machined to engineering specifications. The marriage of these pieces create a "floating disc" which reduces heat related stress and improves brake performance and pedal feel.
Many of the Gran Turismo systems require modification to, or removal of the OEM dust shield or backing plate.
1994-2004 Front kit can be used on earlier cars if you have updated to SN95 spindles, but also requires a hose fitting adaptor. Make sure to order a Maximum Motorsports MMBAK-4 kit and note in special instructions when ordering, if you have a 1993 or earlier car. |
