Materials and Safety Autopower manufactures the majority of roll bars and cages from seamless DOM or ERW mild steel tubing. This type of tubing is designed not to break in the event of a crash. It will deflect and bend while maintaining the integrity of the roll bar or cage. The addition of a roll bar to your car not only adds protection, it can add substantially more chassis stiffness, improving the car's handling characteristics. Autopower Paint Finishes Most steel products are sprayed with an industrial grade gloss black cover coat for rust protection. EXPECT some paint damage during shipping. You may want to refinish products before final installation. It is best to check fit and drill all holes before you repaint. There is NO paint finish guarantee.
